KING COUNTY, WA - A King County juvenile corrections officer pleaded not guilty today to four counts of custodial sexual misconduct for allegedly having sex with two teenage boys she supervised at the county's Juvenile Detention Center.

According to court papers, Lydia Korolak, 34, bribed the two boys — then 17 years old — with food, candy and other perks in exchange for sex. The misconduct allegedly took place between April 2001 and April 2003.

Bail for Korolak was set at $25,000 after her arraignment Tuesday in King County Superior Court.

Charging papers describe a gradually escalating sexual relationship in which Korolak allegedly spoke to one boy about her sex life, allowed him to touch her outside her clothing and eventually had sex with him after slipping into his cell at night. The boy told police that Korolak would bring him candy and fast food and allowed him to sit at the guard station and stay awake past curfew.
