Inspectors give jail high marks

MORRIS TWP, NJ - The Morris County jail received high marks from a team of inspectors who visited the facility as part of a compliance review by the Commission on Accreditation for Corrections.

The jail was inspected from June 5 to 7 by three officers. A final review of the report and a final interview will take place Aug. 13 at the ACA conference in Charlotte, N.C.

The 6-year-old jail, which received a third-level accreditation from the commission three years ago, is seeking a higher, fourth-level one this year. Read more.
