GRANTS, NM - The New Mexico Corrections Department recently announced the settlement of an ACLU lawsuit against it includes a proviso that the department will not be releasing inmates early. “This agreement gives us the confidence that offenders will not be released from prison early, especially since the department currently has adequate capacity,” said Corrections Department Secretary Joe R.
