| Teens see life inside prison |

BRADENTON, FL - It is impersonal. It is dehumanizing. And by relaying that kind of truth about life inside state prisons, local community leaders are planning to start a program aimed for at-risk youth as an attempt to keep them from committing crimes. Round one of Life Inside, a program designed by the state Department of Corrections, was tested in Gainesville earlier this summer and took 43 teenage boys through presentations by corrections officers and video testimonials from inmates detailing their experiences behind bars.
