WASHINGTON COUNTY, OK - The state jail inspector has laid out a set of recommendations regarding the staffing of a new county jail facility. Jail Inspector Don Garrison, in a letter dated July 21 to Jail Administrator Gordon Brown, stated that staffing issues should include a central control operator, a kitchen supervisor, two jailers on duly and a book-in officer. “You will need a central control operator 24/7 and a kitchen supervisor to oversee the food preparation and to oversee feeding the prisoners,” Garrison states in the letter. “You will also need at least two jailers on duty at all times and an employee for book-in.” Read more.If link has expired, check the website of the article's original news source. |
