KINCHELOE, MI - A small plane crashed Monday in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, narrowly missing buildings at a state prison. The small, noncommercial plane crashed near Chippewa Correctional Facility at about 9:30 a.m., according to Russ Marlan, a Michigan Department of Corrections spokesman. There were four people on board the plane and some of them were believed to have been injured, he said. No one at the prison was injured.
