Death row inmate may get retrial

JACKSON, MS - Death row inmate Michael Rubenstein, who was convicted of killing three members of his family, could get a new sentence in the wake of a recent state Supreme Court decision.

The high court ruled on Aug. 10 that the Pike County jury that sentenced him to death should also have been given the option to order Rubenstein to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
