McALESTER, OK - An art show of items made by state prison inmates from items usually found in the trash will be this weekend in conjunction with the state prison rodeo. Department of Corrections activity director Vince Parsons says the show will be in the recreational room of the administration building at the State Penitentiary in McAlester. The artwork includes a car made from papier mache, aluminum foil from chewing gum wrappers, gum, bits of straw and toothpicks.
