RI gets DOJ funds

PROVIDENCE, RI - The RIDOC will get more than $177,000 dollars from the U.S. Justice Department. Representative James Langevin announced the federal grant today.

The money is being used to strengthen supervision and relapse
prevention services for adult and juvenile sex offenders.

The funding is being provided through the Justice Department's
Comprehensive Approaches to Sex Offender Management Grant Program.
