ROGERSVILLE, TN - Rogersville water superintendent Jimmy Bible said last week that the county shouldn't count on the city to help solve it's water pressure problems at the new justice center location. Earlier this month architect Tony Moore, who is drawing plans for the justice center renovation, including the new jail, told Hawkins County commissioners there is only six pounds of water pressure in the building. Hawkins County purchased Rogersville's former Kmart building last year to be converted into a justice center including courtrooms, a sheriff's department and a 232-bed jail. Bible told the Times-News last week that the city's responsibility ends at the meter which is at the property line. He noted that the building is elevated above the meter, but that's not the city's responsibility.
