PINAL COUNTY, AZ - Pressure from state, federal and private prisons has pushed Pinal County to issue pay raises and offer signing bonuses in Florence's highly competitive corrections employee market. Saturated with prisons and jails, Pinal County will issue $1.15 million in pay raises and offer signing bonuses of $1,000 to new entry-level employees and $3,000 to experienced new hires.
