MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ - A restraint chair that has been connected to at least three inmate deaths will no longer be used in Maricopa County jails. Sheriff Joe Arpaio said the controversial chairs used since the 1970s have been replaced with "safe beds" - beds with shackles for the inmate's hands and feet.
