MARQUETTE COUNTY, MI - The overcrowding of the Marquette County Jail is being looked into by local authorities. To ease conditions, law enforcement officials propose re-opening the Mangum Prison Farm in Chocolay Township. At a budget work session, the County Prosecutor and other law enforcement officials asked the County Board of Commissioners for $330,000 to staff the facility.
