Moscow prison hostages released

MOSCOW, RUSSIA - Russian special services have freed two people who were held hostage by inmates at a pre-trial detention centre in the capital Moscow, prison officials say. A spokesman for Russia's prisons said a chief warden and one other staff member had been taken hostage. Earlier reports suggested the inmates were holding as many as 15 people. Read more.
