| Inmate files suit against officers |

PEMBERTON, PA - An inmate at a Burlington County detention center has filed charges against two corrections officers, alleging one of them assaulted him and the other failed to intervene. Joseph McCurry Jr., 35, of Burlington City filed simple-assault charges against Al-Tariq Johnson, 22, and Idris A. Kendrick, 28, both of Willingboro, according to court documents. Read more.
