FRANKLIN, IN - An inmate and a correctional officer were treated at a hospital after a nonpoisonous snake bit them in the Johnson County Jail on Monday, 6News' Ben Morriston reported. Police said they didn't know how the northern water snake got into the jail. The footlong reptile was removed from the building after it bit the two.
