| Prison drug smuggling plot busted |

CARSON CITY, MI - An attempt to smuggle drugs into a local prison is derailed. The elaborate plot involved using library books to get the drugs into the prison. The Carson City Correctional Facility has all the makings of a maximum security prison. It is surrounded by fences with razor wire, it has two gun towers and plenty of hidden cameras. Leo Lalonde, Department of Corrections spokesman: "All of our prison are secure." But some of the prisoners at the correctional facility had a plan that would deliver drugs right past the security measures and straight to their cells. Here's how the plan would work- someone outside the prison would check books out at a local library and place drugs inside the binders.
