JESSUP, MD - Four inmates from the maximum-security Jessup Correctional Institution were recovering from stab wounds Saturday after a fight Friday night, the latest in a spate of violent incidents at Maryland prisons. Priscilla Doggett, spokeswoman for the correction division. Doggett said prison officials believe eight inmates, including the four who were injured, were involved. She said several handmade weapons were recovered. No one has been charged in the attacks. Read more. If link has expired, check the website of the article's original news source. |
