ROCK COUNTY, WI - A state grant for Rock County's "Community RECAP" program is great news for a county overflowing with jail inmates. It affirms that the county's new criminal justice coordinating council is going in the right direction. The county had applied for $240,000 from the state's Treatment Alternatives and Diversion Grant program. Last week's announcement that the county would receive nearly $157,000 from the $616,000 available shows the plan has merits. Read more.
