MIDDLETOWN, CN - A letter sent by a prison inmate was the apparent source of a white powder scare that shut down the Middlesex Superior Court building for three days last month. Lt. Brian McLean of the state police Central District Major Crime Unit declined to say which prison the letter came from but confirmed that the name signed on the letter is that of an inmate. Read more.
