O'Gorman backs corrections overhaul call

QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA - Civil libertarians say Queensland politicians are giving in to populism on issues of sentencing in the judicial system. The Australian Council for Civil Liberties has backed a call by former Supreme Court judge and former Parole Board chairman Bill Carter for a corrections overhaul.
