| Jail scores high on accreditation |

LUCEDALE, MS - George County Regional Correctional Facility passed its recent accreditation check with a nearly perfect score. Every three years, the American Correctional Administration, a national correctional organization, visits the facility and audits it, issuing two scores based on a detailed inspection. The prison received 100 percent and 99.5 percent scores, only missing two recreation standards out of 428 total non-mandatory standards, Warden Preston Goff said. Read more.
