AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND - The Department of Corrections is considering segregated vans to transport inmates following the death of one teenager in August and newly revealed information about an assault on another teenager just a few days later. Two months ago 17-year-old Liam Ashley was beaten to death in the back of a prison van on his way from North Shore District Court to Mt Eden Prison in Auckland. Read more.
