The mission of the National Commission on Correctional Health Care is to improve the quality of health care in jails, prisons and juvenile confinement facilities. Since 1976, its National Conference on Correctional Health Care has grown from a gathering of just 80 pioneers into a high-profile, five-day event that attracts 2,000 professionals seeking career growth, continuing education and opportunities to connect with others in this unique health care field. The NCCHC has the support from 39 major national organizations representing the fields of health, law and corrections, and is committed to improving the quality of health care in our nation's jails, prisons, and juvenile confinement facilities.
