WASHINGTON, DC - The US Supreme Court hears arguments Monday on lawsuits by three Michigan inmates over prison conditions. The inmates have sought the Supreme Court review after lower courts dismissed their lawsuits. A 1996 federal law put restrictions on lawsuits filed by inmates over the conditions of their incarceration, including quality of medical care and prison food. Read more.
