| Inmate bus creates headaches for sheriff |

STOCKTON, CA - The difference of a foot is forcing county officials to do some tree-trimming and spend an extra $18,000 when it comes to transporting inmates from the county jail to the courthouse in downtown Stockton. The problem is that the bus the sheriffs department wants complete with a rooftop-mounted air conditioner wont clear the courthouse roll-up doors, according to San Joaquin County officials.
