ESCANABA, MI - Local corrections and court officials have taken a unique step when it comes to some people who find themselves on the wrong side of the law, and we like it. Delta County District Court and the West-Central U.P. Regional Community Corrections Program have initiated a program in which people sentenced to community service make donations to the Salvation Army and the Delta County Alliance Against Violence and Abuse today.
