| Prison inmates discover body in marsh |

Some prison inmates on a work detail in New Jersey made a grisly discovery Tuesday -- a body in a marsh. The body was found in weeds just off the White Horse Pike in Absecon, N.J. It was unclear how the body got to the location. It was also unclear if it was a man or woman, but investigators said the situation appeared to be suspicious. Authorities said inmates from Bayside State Prison's minimum-security unit came across the body as they were picking up litter. The decomposed body was found just after 11 a.m. Investigators are hoping that an autopsy will shed more light on how the person died. |
