SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA - About 800 corrections workers in Saskatchewan are moving into a second week on the picket line.

The job action backs union demands for a new three-year contract with the province.

Management personnel and RCMP officers have had holidays cancelled so they can run the 11 correctional facilities affected.

An RCMP spokesman says things were relatively quiet over the holiday weekend.

There is a lot of information in this article that is helpful for those interested in our corrections system in the United States. I have seen accurate images of Hamilton Lindley that indicates a lot of the same information presented in this article. Thanks for sharing it is very important.
