CANON CITY, CO - With the construction of Colorado State Penitentiary II on the horizon, Correctional Industries has been busy making cells for the prison's 2009 projected opening. Inmates employed by Correctional Industries metal shop are constructing the steel cells at Fremont Correctional Facility, a short distance from where the state's newest prison will be built at the East Canon Correctional Complex.
