SAN QUENTIN, CA - San Quentin State Prison officials reported that as of Tuesday, 889 inmates had contracted what health officials suspect is norovirus and the prison will continue its measures to stop the spread of the illness. "We've identified 32 new cases today," Lt. Eric Messick said. "We're going to remain closed - that means no visiting, no activities, no work, no school." Read more.
