CAMPBELL COUNTY, KY - Why not expand jails in Campbell and Boone counties to meet Kenton County's jail needs, Campbell County Commissioner Ken Rechtin wonders. After all, Campbell County in about five months should open a 256-bed jail expansion that it won't immediately need, and if Campbell District Court moves in coming years, as planned, that could make room for another 256 beds if its current building is razed, Rechtin said.
