WASHINGTON COUNTY, OK - The Board of Washington County Commissioners voted Thursday to go into negotiations with Southbuild, a Memphis, Tenn.-based architectural company, to possibly design a new county jail. The commissioners announced their selection at a continued meeting of board Thursday afternoon. Reportedly, the move will signal the first step in securing a new jail for the county. Read more.
