DENVER, CO - A crack team of correctional officers, dressed in black and armed with Glock handguns and assault rifles, stood ringing a prisoner-transport plane on a Pueblo Memorial Airport runway. For 90 minutes on a mid-January morning, 120 coatless killers, robbers and drug dealers in green uniforms stepped one by one out of a convoy of buses and vans.
