| Jails' good report tops earlier assessments |

MULTNOMAH COUNTY, OR - An independent panel has given Multnomah County's two jails high marks for operation and management. The Oregon State Sheriffs Association, which inspects jail operations every other year, determined that the Inverness Jail met 99.8 percent of the state's 402 jail standards.
