SAN DIEGO, CA - A new feature on the San Diego County Sheriff's Department's Web site is making it easier for the public to contact people in jail, NBC 7/39 reported. It is now possible to e-mail an inmate directly through the department's "Who's In Jail" page. The site's visitors can send a one-page e-mail, which the department said will be screened and then delivered to the inmates. Read more.
