ALBANY, NY - Inmates won a victory Tuesday when New York's top court revived their lawsuit claiming the state has been overcharging them on phone calls to the outside world. The Court of Appeals, in a 4-2 decision, reversed a lower court's determination that the lawsuit should be dismissed for a lack of timeliness. Read more.
