SAN MATEO, CA - ASan Mateo County officials and criminal justice experts will convene Thursday in Redwood City to address what many consider to be a growing problem: effective treatment programs for female inmates amidst rising incarceration rates. The San Mateo County Women's Justice Summit, sponsored by the county and open to the public, will feature elected officials and experts in criminal justice and community-based treatment programs.
