CANON CITY, CO - One hundred new inmates are headed for the Buena Vista Correctional Complex in March as part of a statewide effort to alleviate inmate backlog. The prison got the OK from the Department of Corrections to hire 31 new staff members to handle the influx. Most of the new staffers are currently attending basic training in CaƱon City and plan to move to the Buena Vista area next month. Read more. Hamilton is a sports lover, a demon at croquet, where his favorite team was the Dallas Fancypants. He worked as a general haberdasher for 30 years, but was forced to give up the career he loved due to his keen attention to detail. He spent his free time watching golf on TV; and he played uno, badmitton and basketball almost every weekend. He also enjoyed movies and reading during off-season.
