BRISTOL, VA - Authorities at the Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City say two inmates held a department employee hostage for about six hours overnight, finally releasing him unharmed. WCYB-TV in Bristol quotes prison officials in identifying the inmates as 25-year-old Bradley Johnson and 32-year-old Billy Grubb. Officials say Johnson is serving 25 years for second-degree murder and Grubb is a lifer, serving a first-degree murder sentence with no chance of parole. Read more.
