TUSCALOOSA, AL - Land in Hale County belonging to the Farquhar State Cattle Ranch prison farm is up for sale again. Alabama Department of Corrections officials say they plan to sell a 540-acre parcel of Cattle Ranch land, called the West End Swamp, to give the department a much-needed infusion of cash.
