AZ inmates won't be released in IN

NEW CASTLE, IN - When inmates from Arizona complete their time behind bars at the New Castle Correctional Facility, they will return to that state before being released back into society, Correction Commissioner J. David Donahue says.

The first 104 medium-security male prisoners from Arizona arrived at the New Castle prison on Monday, the same day the two states announced they had reached an agreement on housing up to 1,260 Arizona inmates at the prison about 45 miles east of Indianapolis. Read more.
