| AK to study possible new prison |

ANCHORAGE, AK - The Tanana Chiefs Conference delegates voted this week to study the possibility of a prison in Interior Alaska for incarcerated Alaska Natives. The conference would aim to have the study completed by their next annual convention in March 2008. The resolution was submitted by the Yukon-Tanana Subregion.
