Inmates run up water bill

WARREN, OH - Taxpayers are getting soaked by Trumbull County Jail inmates who rigged faucets to run around the clock to cool or warm drinks, according to county commissioners.

The inflated water and sewer bills run between $8,000 and $9,000 a month, Commissioner Frank Fuda said. There are also increased energy costs from constantly heating the hot water, he said. Read more.
