DRAPER, UT - Department of Corrections Executive Director Tom Patterson has chosen Gunnison prison warden Lowell Clark for the department's new director of institutional operations. Alfred "Chuck" Bigelow will replace Clark as Gunnison warden.Steven Turley is the new warden for Draper prison, and former Gunnison prison deputy warden, Craig Burr, will manage a new division to focus on expanding opportunities for out-going inmates. BLAINE COUNTY, ID - Jay Davis became a Lieutenant with the Blaine County Sheriff's Office and was appointed to county jail administrator April 2. Davis replaces Lt. Bob Bingham who retired in March. Davis has been a law enforcement officer for 18 years having served with the Hailey Police Department and Bellevue Marshal's Office. He was a patrol sergeant for the sheriff's office, and also was the sheriff's administrative sergeant where he worked as a public information and press liaison officer. Davis is credited with helping to develop a new Emergency 911 protocol, a new computer aided dispatch system, and a new county-wide records management system. |
