Cleanup instilling comraderie

DRAPER, UTAH - Since taking over the Department of Corrections in January, Executive Director Tom Patterson has been cleaning house in the wake of allegations of rampant cronyism and favoritism. Speaking earlier today on KCPW's Midday Metro, Patterson says it's been important to hire people who foster comraderie and communication in a department consisting of 2,400 employees:

"And while I'm not saying that the past administration didn't have those abilities, it was important to me that I encircled myself with people that I could number one trust; and number two, that those folks were dedicated to the men and women who have dedicated their careers to the Department of Corrections."
