More than 200 inmates who triggered a riot at the New Castle (Ind.) Correctional Facility on Tuesday have been shipped to other prisons within Indiana, the Indiana Department of Correction said Wednesday. Offenders who were noncompliant with staff, which included some of the offenders that instigated or promoted the disturbance, were transported out of the facility and placed within disciplinary segregation cells at other facilities," the department's news release said.
