RUTLAND, VT - A Vermont corrections officer was being held Saturday on $250,000 bail after pleading innocent to drug charges a day earlier. City police arrested Sheri Fitzgerald, 43, a Corrections Department employee since 1989, at her home in Proctor after she allegedly sold cocaine to a police informant behind the town Library.
