Opinion - Jail officers must abide by work rules

CAMDEN, NJ - Corrections officers protesting residency requirements knew the rules when they took the job.

Camden County freeholders shouldn't grant residency exceptions for five corrections officers. The five knew the rules when they accepted their jobs and chose to move outside the county. Now, they want the rules bent to accommodate them. But that would be unfair to the other county employees who had to comply with the residency requirement to keep their jobs. Read more.
