BOSTON, MA - The state prisons department is overhauling the system is uses for tracking sentences following revelations that 14 inmates were confined even after their sentences had been completed, officials say. One inmate was held for more than four years after his scheduled release date. That inmate, Rommel Jones, was never informed by the Department of Correction that he had been held too long, and never received an apology. Read more.
